The method, explained
MOV is a container used by recording and editing software. The provider processes the video into MP4, rather than simply renaming the file. Exact codecs and preserved metadata depend on the source and provider.
Choose a MOV camera clip, select MP4 and download the converted copy.
What to keep in mind
Maximum 20 MB per batch. Processing uses ApyHub and may take a few minutes. GIF uses the first ten seconds at 480 × 270. Codec compatibility and preservation of additional tracks depend on the source. Download links are temporary; save results promptly. Videos are not included in local ZIP downloads.
Common questions
Where is my video processed?
With your consent, videos pass through private ClarityKit upload storage and ApyHub in the USA or Ireland. Our upload chunks are removed after submission; abandoned uploads are removed during later upload activity. Provider source-file retention has not been confirmed. Use non-sensitive videos only.
Does conversion guarantee a smaller file?
No. File size depends on codec, content and settings. Re-encoding can lose quality, and compression may not reduce an already efficient file. Review the result before deleting your original.
