Know what stays here. Know what is sent.

Different tools handle information differently. This page describes the current site, including optional analytics and conversions that require an upload.

Updated

Calculator inputs and local files

Calculators and tools marked as local process your inputs in your browser. ClarityKit does not collect their calculator values, pasted text, generated passwords or file contents. QR content, including Wi-Fi credentials, is also processed locally.

Some calculators offer an optional Share inputs link. Its URL fragment contains the selected inputs, readable by anyone you share it with. This option is not offered on health, text or random-generation tools.

Local file tools keep working files in the browser while you use them. Resetting the tool or closing the tab releases the working session. Copies you download remain on your device until you remove them.

Currency reference data

After you select Calculate, currency tools request the currencies and optional historical date from Frankfurter. Your amount and fees stay local. The provider receives normal connection metadata, such as your IP address. Rates may be cached in the tab for up to an hour. Read Frankfurter’s documentation.

External document, image and video processing

Word to PDF, PDF to Word, Excel to PDF, PowerPoint to PDF, PDF to PowerPoint, Word to Text, Markdown to PDF, HEIC to JPG, Background Remover and the external video tools send selected content through our server to ApyHub after you confirm the tool’s processing notice. That confirmation is separate from analytics consent. Do not upload confidential or sensitive content.

Document and image conversion handlers do not intentionally persist source files or log original filenames. Video uploads are temporarily stored in private chunks on Netlify before being forwarded. The application attempts to remove those chunks after submission or cancellation. Cleanup of abandoned uploads and session records runs during later upload activity and an hourly maintenance task. Entries older than one hour are eligible; a failed cleanup run can delay deletion.

Prior ApyHub support correspondence described processing in Ireland or the USA, a 15-minute output retention period and no training use. Its current general privacy policy describes EU primary storage and other possible processing arrangements. Neither establishes an exact source-file deletion deadline for all conversions used here. We therefore do not promise a fixed source-retention period or a single processing country. See ApyHub’s privacy policy.

Provider downloads can expire, and anyone holding a temporary download link may be able to use it. Cancelling in the browser cannot recall a job already sent to the provider. Save the result you need, keep your original and review the output.

Usage limits and hosting records

Server tools store aggregate usage counters and keyed hashes derived from IP addresses to limit abuse and manage conversion capacity. These identifiers are not published and are not treated as anonymous data. Counter windows vary by service; old visitor entries are replaced when later requests advance the relevant window, rather than by a guaranteed deletion timer.

Netlify delivers the site and server functions and processes connection information, including IP addresses and request headers. Application records and hosting logs are different: we do not publish a fixed deletion period for hosting logs. See Netlify’s privacy policy.

Google Analytics and your choice

Google Analytics is configured on ClarityKit, but its script loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Ignoring the prompt or choosing Reject optional leaves analytics off. The tools are available either way.

When allowed, analytics measures page visits and tool actions. Our page-location setting excludes query strings and fragments, and our custom events use tool identifiers and actions, not input values, filenames or file contents. Google also processes connection and device information needed for analytics and may use analytics cookies. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in the site configuration.

Your choice is saved in browser local storage. You can reopen Cookie preferences below or in the footer. Rejecting after accepting disables further site analytics and attempts to remove accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already sent to Google. Clearing browser storage removes your saved choice.

Contact, requests and updates

ClarityKit is the service name used on this site. Email claritykit@claritykit.tools for privacy questions or data requests. Your email address and anything you include in the message are used to handle the inquiry. A fixed retention period for support correspondence has not been established.
