Validate the HTTPS destination, generate a random eight-character identifier, and store the mapping on the server. Visiting the short link shows the destination before continuing.
Turn a long public HTTPS page address into https://claritykit.tools/go/ followed by a unique eight-character code. The code in this example is illustrative, not a working link.
What to keep in mind
Five new links per visitor per day, up to two per minute, and 100 per day for the service. Links expire after 30 days. No custom aliases or click analytics. Destinations are not scanned or endorsed.
Common questions
Does this service store my URL?
Yes. The destination and expiry are stored server-side to resolve the link. Do not shorten private document links, passwords, access tokens or URLs containing personal information. Expiry disables access; stored records may remain until administrative cleanup.
Does a short link open the destination immediately?
No. Visitors see the full destination and select Continue. This helps them inspect the address before opening an external website.
