Input reference and sample values
Use the units and choices shown for each field. Sample values are provided for practice, not as recommendations.
| Input | Format and units | Sample |
|---|---|---|
| Distance | Numeric value. Unit: km. Zero or positive. | 300 |
| Average moving speed | Numeric value. Unit: km/h. Must be greater than zero. | 80 |
| Planned stops | Numeric value. Unit: minutes. Zero or positive. | 30 |
Result for these sample inputs
4.25 hours
Select Try the example in the form to load these values and calculate them again. This replaces the current form inputs. Compare the result with the method and worked explanation below.
The method, explained
Hours = distance/average speed + stop minutes/60.
Using distance = 300 km, average moving speed = 80 km/h, planned stops = 30 minutes, the result is 4.25 hours. Change these example inputs to match your task; use the method above to check each step.
What to keep in mind
