How to use Annotate & Sign PDF

  1. Choose a supported file and check its preview and size.
  2. Review the options and assumptions shown above.
  3. Process your file, inspect the result, and save your download.

The method, explained

The selected page receives a new text or image overlay. Existing PDF text is not edited. Position is measured as a percentage from the top-left of the page; a signature image is placed below the note when both are supplied.

A WORKED EXAMPLE

Add a short approval note and a PNG signature to page 2, position it near the bottom, then inspect the preview before downloading.

What to keep in mind

Up to 20 MB and 50 pages; one placement per operation. Notes support Latin characters, up to 400 characters and six lines. Upload a PNG for other scripts. Signature images: PNG/JPG, up to 2 MB and four million pixels. Rotated target pages must be normalized first. This is a visual mark, not a verified digital signature. Editing invalidates existing digital signatures.

Does the signature prove identity?

No. An inserted image is a visual mark. The tool does not verify identity, issue certificates or provide an audit trail.
