The method, explained
Convert the source price into the target currency, then subtract the competing target price. A negative difference means the source offer is cheaper before additional charges.
At an illustrative 0.90 rate, a 100 USD offer costs 90 EUR. Compared with a 95 EUR offer, the source offer is 5 EUR cheaper.
What to keep in mind
Shipping, sales tax, customs, card fees and warranty differences are excluded. Compare equivalent products and include all extra costs before buying.

Common questions
Does the cheaper converted price mean the better purchase?
Not necessarily. Delivery, duties, product specifications and return policies can outweigh the price difference.
What information is sent to the rate provider?
Only the currency pair and requested date. Amounts, fees and comparison prices stay in your browser.
