The method, explained
Converted historical amount = amount × historical reference rate. The returned observation date is shown separately from the requested date.
If the historical rate were 0.85 EUR per USD, 200 USD would equal 170 EUR on that reference basis.
What to keep in mind
Dates begin in 1999; coverage varies by currency. Missing dates may use a preceding observation or return an error. This does not adjust for inflation.
